Work on the ERC Synergy grant Coordination, Communication, and Cultural Transmission began on 1st January 2015. CEU hosted two week long meetings to develop collaborative research ideas.
As part of the Synvergy grant partnerships was established with the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology, Leipzig Germany and St. Andrews University, Scotland. This enables CEU researchers to compare social cognition in humans and other primate species.
