Anna received her Bachelor’s in Music and Psychology at The Jacobs School of Music/Indiana University. She defended her PhD in Experimental Psychology at McGill University in June 2018, with a concentration in Cognition & Cognitive Neuroscience. Her PhD research investigated the behavioral and neural dynamics of interpersonal synchrony between performing musicians. Anna joined the Somby Lab as a postdoctoral researcher in September 2018 with a goal of investigating the behavioral and neural mechanisms by which partners in joint action learn to coordinate the timing of rhythmic behaviours such as music performance.
