Pain is a physiological reaction of our organism to some stimuli. Recent psychological studies have shown that pain increases affiliation and trust among pain partners. In this talk, and through a series of lab and field experiments, Panos Mitkidis will discuss the psychological consequences of pain on moral behavior and explain the mechanisms responsible.
